Microporous calcium silicate board uniquely meets this demand with a maximum service temperature of up to 1000°C, a thermal conductivity as low as 0.06 W/(m*K), and non-combustible, asbestos-free properties. It has become an indispensable material for energy conservation and safety assurance in energy-intensive sectors such as power generation and petrochemicals.
Calcium silicate board is characterized by high-efficiency thermal insulation (low thermal conductivity), excellent high-temperature stability (no deformation), high compressive strength, and non-combustible, asbestos-free composition. Available in boards, pipe sections, and shaped parts, it is primarily used for thermal insulation of high-temperature pipelines, reactors, and kiln backings in power, petrochemical, and metallurgical industries, as well as for fireproof bulkheads in shipbuilding.
